Tour Launched
Endeavor has launched the Tastemaker Tour in the USA!
We've hit the road in a 32ft RV, with the first stop
being the Pacific Northwest. We hooked up with our homey
Seth Simpson and saw our accounts in Hood River...next
we rolled to Medford to see Hotskates...and then on
to Nor Cal, where we went shredding for the day at Bear
Valley with our rep Patrick Johnson...check

video to come when we get some time to edit!!!! Tonight
we're at the Block at Tahoe, the sickest snowboarder
run hotel in the world! Next stop are the accounts in

This first shot of Nick and I is after the stylewars
rail jam at falls creek, It was on one of the red bull
set ups " stair feature" Flat down ledge on
the right, flat bar in the middle, down flat down kink
on the left. Fun set up some shit went down!
The beach shot is called bondi beach
in sydney, such a kool spot! real good surf and a dope
skatepark i was there for a night for Oakleys Community
project premier. Kool movie with the best New Zealand
and Japan sections to date "check it out".
The shot of Nick in the kings chair
was the "king of the rail event" the longest
rail in the world it was something like 60 meter flat
then down and up another 20 meters!. Fuct up! the contest
was at perisher Nick stayed in the chair for the first
night holding the $5000 clams but was knocked off the
next night by shay paxton another ozzie homie sliding
34m he took the coin in the end!
There was also a rail jam event as part of the King
of the rail, i won best trick and best over all rider
on the stair feature.

Oh man...ASR time again. The Endeavor boys ventured
down to sunny California to get some surf action and
do a little PR tour...stops to include our So Cal shops,
the ASR trade show, the movie premiers, and Transworld...this
little photo essay is from our trip down - 20 hours
straight in the silver bullet...we left at 5pm from
Vancouver and hit LA around 1pm the next day. Luckily
no speeding tickets but the car was a little smelly

Our homies over at Drop and Rekognize got us involved
in this project. Basically, they have the illest artists
doing pieces that are auctioned off and the proceeds
go to the War Child charity. The event is going to go
off so if you're around Montreal, you should definitely

it out! Endeavor is sending out two blank boards
to get painted up and auctioned off, so stay posted

to Red Bull
Wednesday night was the HSBC Symphony of Fire in Vancouver
- a fireworks competition that happens every summer.
Wednesday night was sweden's turn at the competition
and we thought we may have to just chill...we thought
wrong. Kenny Mac and Jaimeson from Red Bull called up
the Endeavor office to participate in an evening of
dining, drinking, and fireworks...big props go out to
the boys for organizing an excellent night! Some

Endeavor Commercial
Hot off the editing machine (Randy's laptop) comes the
new Endeavor Commercial, which will be featured in the
new Whiteout Films movie "The Big Blind" in
the Endeavor section. The commercial was filmed when
the boys were filming the product knowledge videos,
which will launch sometime in August on the website.

Stan called us today because he hasn't stopped getting

Checks in from Finland
Paavo just signed on to iChat and sent through these
photos from Helsinki Finland. He's back in his home
country to rest up his shoulder and prepare for coming
back to Canada and then on to Australia and New Zealand.
Rumour has it that he'll be rolling down to NZ with
Eero Niemela to appear in a new hollywood snowboarding

Received some photos from Fabia at Camp of Champions
this morning. Check out one of the winners of the Always
Endeavor contest - camp coach Jon "the boy"
Roth hooked up a camper from each session who showed
that they always tried, on and off the slope. Props
to everyone at Camp of Champions for throwing another

from Down Under
Hey Max, How are you mate? All is well here in NZ. We've
just got back from a large road trip to the South and
even though there wasn't enough snow, we managed to
ride 5 mountains - Love my new Paavo board! Cher. We
slept in the back of the Hilux most the time and frooze!
Lots of fun though.
Attached are a few pics of the trip (click the photo
on the left). How is everything with you? Enjoying Summer?
Loving the Endeavor apparel as well.. some real cool
shit we have hooked up through Motion. Ok, speak soon,

Hore Scores Double Page Spread in new Transworld Magazine
Donn "the Hore" Hore scored a double page
spread in the newest Transworld Snowboarding Magazine.
His spread is part of an article about jobs that let
you ride - Donn is perfect for the article, working
at Boston Pizza at nights in Whistler so he can enjoy
the pow pow during the day. The sequence was shot in
Colorado by staff photographer Scott "The Future"
Serfas during an Endeavor photoshoot following the TW
Team Challenge. Nice work Donn! You best be giving Ry
Guy and Martin's high fives for getting you this far!!!

Snowboarding
Endeavor's Diamond Series was featured as a Girl's Pick
in the first issue of Transworld, which hits news stands
August 1st. The article explains "board companies
are making a major push into the women's market...these
new board models (were designed) with girls in mind."

Koia Takes 2nd Place at Coronet Peak Big Air Contest
Endeavor's Jacob Koia took home the silver medal at
the BP Ultimate Air snowboard big air contest at Coronet
Peak, Queenstown New Zealand, beating out his close
mate and ex-endeavor rider Antz Leffelaar. This event
is an annual deal and Jake was the winner last season.

is Kold as Ice
Apparently super snowboard agent Stan Yu is coming out
with a hip hop record. A different take on gangsta rap,
the Korean sensation is doing this one for his people
in Seoul. With tracks such as "I Got Soju On Da
Mind", "Kum Poon Gi", and "Dog Is
A'ight", this album is set to be an absolute riot!
When out of the recording studio, Koreaga can be seen
strolling the mean streets of Vancouver with his team
riders Eero Niemela, Ikka Backstrom, Joni Malmi and
Paavo Tikkanen...wait a second, those guys are all Finnish...TRUE.
If you see him out at the Furniture Warehouse, he's
probably iChating on his Blackberry, setting up his
night at either Asslantis or Plush...holla back fool!

Wars to be held in Australia September
We received the invite a week ago - better late than
never to post it. We're trying to get Paavo to put together
a Finnish squad to go up against the best, so we'll
see if he can pull Eero Niemela, Ikka Backstrom, and
Joni Malmi down under with him. If they end up there,
i wouldn't be surprised if our resident photo journalist
Scott Serfas documented their trip. Confirmed for the
War is the pacific team, which includes Endeavor riders
Jake Koia, Ben Bright, and Nick Gregory. If you're around,

07.13.05 - Last
Day at Camp of Champions
That's right, it's sad to say that today marked the
last day of camp up in Whistler. Regardless of the foul
weather that plagued the different sessions, the camp
was a huge success. The jibs were better than ever this
year, including the camo Endeavor rail and the Spy circus
rail! Endeavor also ran a contest throughout the sessions
- our coaches were looking for the campers who "Always
Endeavored" - who always tried, whether it be a
new trick off a jump or going bungy jumping for the
first time. The winners in each session received an
Endeavor prize pack, including a snowboard. Big ups

Gregory headlines Billabong Australia/New Zealand Tour
Our man in Oz Nick Gregory will be touring around all
the resorts in Australia and New Zealand as part of
the Billabong Freeway Tour. After yet another back to
back winter (Nick travels from Australian winter in
the southern hemisphere to North American winter in
the northern hemisphere), Nick is hyped to tour around.
Being hurt early on in the season while in Austria filming
for Whiteout Film's new release Big Blind, Nick jacked
his knee. From the eager emails we've been getting,
it sounds like Nick is ready to search and destroy...make
sure you ask him to put another shrimp on the barbee
for us if you see him!

nominated for BDC Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award
Endeavor Snowboards has been nominated by the Business
Development Bank of Canada as Young Entrepreneurs of
the Year. It's been a crazy past year and this nomination
is a huge honor. The awards are presented in Calgary
in October...Scott's hoping we win so we can roll wearing

07.01.05 - Paavo
Escapes Death in Iceland
We knew Paavo was made of rubber, but we didn't know
the extent of his super powers. On a trip to Iceland
in February with Scott Serfas, Peter H Anderson, Leanne
Polosi, and Jesse Fox, we almost lost our beloved Paavo.
Leaving the bar, Paavo rolled home to the hotel only
to be startled by Jesse Fox opening the door. Stumbling
backward, Paavo fell over the railing, hitting his body
on each floor before coming to rest 4 stories below.
Although an ambulance was called, Paavo was fine...his
first words after the fall - "where's my other
shoe?". It was lying on the 3rd floor of course.
