Continuing our music inspired collaboration boards we present Ozzy Osbourne. Ozzy is an English vocalist and songwriter. He rose to prominance in the early 1970s as the lead vocalist of the rock band Black Sabbath, whose sound was influential to the development of heavy metal. Osbourne was fired from Black Sabbath in 1979 but has since had a successful solo career releasing 11 studio albums. The first seven of which were all awarded multi-platinum certifications in the U.S. He has reunited with Black Sabbath on several occasions such as recording the album 13 in 2013.

Osbourne’s longevity and success have earned him the informal title of “Godfather of Heavy Metal”

Tribute is a live album featuring Ozzy’s work with hard rock guitarist Randy Rhoads, in whose honor the album was released in 1987, 5 years after his passing.
