Music is a direct reflection of our individual style and personality. Endeavor has always used music as a muse and a source of inspiration. This limited edition collection of snowboards celebrates one of our generations most iconic musicians in collaboration with New York photographer Jesse Frohman.

Kurt Cobain formed Nirvana alongside of Krist Novoselic in 1987. He was the band’s songwriter, vocalist and guitarist. Following the release of ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ from the ‘Nevermind’ album in 1991, Nirvana became over night rock stars.

‘Nevermind’ brought alternative rock into mainstream. It is representative of a generation and its culture. Through this record, Cobain became the spokesperson of Generation X. He captures feelings and emotions through his lyrics; and presents them through his poetically ferocious rasp.

Kurt Cobain died at the age of 27—a death that music fans still contemplate 20 years later. The photograph pictured captures Cobain’s provocative side that is representative of himself, Nirvana and Generation X.

Jesse Frohman’s insightful portraiture transcends the nature of celebrity photography. Shot in New York City, this photoshoot was the last time Nirvana was photographed together.
